Good Morning 2/11/10

Today you can laugh in the face of leukemia with Eugene Mirman and Todd Barry here in Seattle. Do it, and please laugh loudly. I saw two people brushing their teeth while driving on my way to work today, I have never seen this before. Is it one of those things where once you notice it you see it everywhere? I did, and found it bizarre. Where do they spit? I should have videoed it for Youtube. On that note, Youtube becomes more interesting than kids ghost-riding-the-whip for a day; Xeni Jardin of Boing Boing is curating the featured videos, now I have something to do while I eat lunch at my desk. Design smart guy Andrio Abero did a really nice poster benefitting the people in Haiti (lookout below), if you design as well, you can submit a poster candidate to the curators that thought up this great project too. Do it. Andrio also has been featured on a McDonalds billboard smiling next to the slogan I’m lovin’ it which they put in front of his office building in Seattle when he lived here for Karmic reasons, but I love him most for designing The Vera Project’s website and millions of our posters when he was Vera’s in house designer. There are two bands playing at Vera that I am very excited about, Washed Out and Surfer Blood. Thanks to Jonathan for turning me on to them, and Happy Birthday dude. That’s all. Oh and…
